Postscript
Cynthia passed away peacefully at St. Michael's hospital in Toronto on Saturday June 19th, 2010 at 1:50 am. At her side were her mother, sister and brothers.
Cynthia did a training session last year at the Service Delivery Branch of the Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities. We have been following her blog for quite a while now and are very saddened to hear of her passing.
She was very warm and engaging, the world has lost a wonderful writer.
Our deepest sympathies to her family and loved ones. Rest in peace Cynthia.
My sincere condolences. I worked with Cynthia at Maclean's many moons ago. Her knowledge and expertise in her area of work were easy to see. Also her calmness and humour always made it effortless for anyone to work with her.
My thoughts will be with her family and friends during this difficult time.
Huge condolences to Cynthia's family. I worked with her on a few stories and she also came out to Alberta to give fact-checking sessions to our membership. She was a lovely, spirited and thoughtful person, and will be greatly missed. I am glad I got to know her just a little bit. Colleen Seto Alberta Magazine Publishers Assn
